Moulin Rouge
The story of an eternal love triangle set in the world of entertainment…
Described as “Britain’s first Superfilm”, the impression of Moulin Rouge is far from British. Directed by Ewald André Dupont and featuring Russian actress, Olga Tschechowa, the elaborate sets and rich shadowy lighting in particular recall the contemporary German cinema.
Influenced by contemporary urban culture and the boisterous rhythms of Parisian cabaret, Charlie Barber’s new score injects fresh energy and passion into this classic film. Four musicians will perform Charlie Barber’s new musical score live.
